Earlier if you were ordering any food from Swiggy then you had to pay ₹2 for the Swiggy platform but recently Swiggy has increased its platform fee to ₹3.
Let us also tell you that this new platform fee of Swiggy has been affected from October 4, 2023, due to which Swiggy now charges ₹ 3-platform fee.
Swiggy Platform Fee be increased further?
According to some reports, Swiggy had first increased its platform fees in Bengaluru and Hyderabad city, but now the company has increased it across the country. Due to this everyone has to pay ₹3 platform fee to Swiggy.
The platform fees that we pay to Swiggy are in addition to the delivery fees and other charges that we have to pay to Swiggy. At present it is also being said that Swiggy may increase its platform fees further in the coming time, but no official report has come yet.
Swiggy company has given this statement
Recently speaking to ET, a Swiggy spokesperson said that we have not made any major changes in the platform fees. At present, we are charging ₹3 platform fees in most of the cities, which is quite normal as per the industry.
