The 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is going to be the 9th edition of the T20 World Cup.
The ODI World Cup 2023 matches ended on 19 November in which Australia won the title by defeating Team India. Another World Cup is going to be held after 6 months. ICC is continuously giving opportunities to small countries to promote cricket.
2024 ICC men’s T20 World Cup Host and Venue :
The 2024 ICC men’s T20 World Cup is to be played jointly in West Indies and America in June 2024.
India and Pakistan may clash in America. However, the schedule of the tournament has not been released yet.
The venues for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024:

2. Broward County Cricket Stadium in Lauderhill, Florida
3. Eisenhower Park, Nassau County in New York
4. Antigua & Barbuda: Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. North Sound
5. Barbados: Kensington Oval, Bridgetown
6. Dominica: Windsor Park, Roseau
7. Guyana: Providence Stadium, Providence
8. St Lucia: Daren Sammy Cricket Ground, Gros-Islet
9. Trinidad & Tobago: Arnos Vale Stadium, Kingstown
10. St Vincent & The Grenadines: Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain
2024 ICC men’s t20 world cup Team List:
A total of 20 teams will participate in the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. So far 18 teams have qualified for the World Cup 2024. Two more are yet to be decided. If we look at the history of the T20 and ODI World Cup, for the first time 20 teams will participate in ICC men’s T20 World Cup.

2024 ICC men’s T20 World Cup – 55 matches between 20 teams :
Talking about T20 World Cup 2024, the matches are to be held from June 4 to 30. 20 teams will be divided into 4 groups. That means there will be 5 teams in each group and everyone has to play 4-4 matches. Top-2 teams of each group will go to the Super-8. There will be 2 groups here also. The top two teams of each group will get a place in the semi-finals. After this, the semi-finals and final will be played.
Being hosts, West Indies and America have got direct entry in the T20 World Cup. The top-8 teams of the last T20 World Cup, Australia, England, India, Netherlands, Pakistan, New Zealand, South Africa and Sri Lanka will also be seen playing. Based on the T20 ranking, Afghanistan and Bangladesh have got a chance to play in the T20 World Cup.
2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup – 8 teams get a chance from the qualifiers :
Apart from 12 teams, 8 will enter the T20 World Cup by playing qualifiers. After the Europe Qualifier, Ireland and Scotland qualified for the ICC tournament by finishing on top. Papua New Guinea from East Asia-Pacific Qualifiers, Canada from America Qualifiers and Nepal and Oman from Asia Qualifiers have qualified for the World Cup.
Africa qualifiers matches are being played from 22nd to 30th November. From here also two teams have to get World Cup tickets. 7 teams including Zimbabwe and Kenya are participating in the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
